We finished our conference marathon off with the annual Society for Reproductive Investigation meeting in Charlotte NC! Maryam, Ansley, and Paige presented posters and we met up with Darby and Dr. Zierden from the @zierdenlab_ ! Overall a great time and lots of cool talks, posters, and people!

The REPRO ECO Tox lab took on the annual SOT meeting in Orlando this week! We all had posters to present and even our PI hosted a talk! Overall a great time full of science and fun!

Super proud of our very own @sashasuggs for crushing her very first poster presentation! Sasha and Ansley have been exploring the impacts of phthalate exposure on the hypothalamic-liver-ovarian axis and looking at changes in gene expression in liver cells. Sasha and our other undergraduates have been learning cell culture, RNA isolation and extraction techniques, and dPCR from great mentors like @ansley_elkins. Mentoring not only benefits the mentees, but our graduate student mentors gain valuable skills and experience that they’ll bring with them in their future careers!
